The Dallas Cowboys have added to their depth on defense ahead of training camp by signing UFL standouts Willie Harvey Jr and Gareon Conley,
As reported last week, the Cowboys worked out four UFL standouts.
Harvey, a linebacker, had 78 tackles and 4 sacks across 10 games, while leading the UFL in tackles, tackled for loss, passes defended, and forced fumbles.
The linebacking corps for the Cowboys was riddled with injuries last season and was a notable weak point on defense. So far this offseason, the Cowboys have added Eric Kendricks, rookie Marist Liufau, and now Willie Harvey Jr - and will have DeMarvion Overshown back and healthy.
Conley, a cornerback, is a former first round pick of the Raiders in 2017. He'll be providing depth at one of the Cowboys strongest position groups as he auditions for a return to the league.
Harvey Jr, Conley, and the Cowboys all hope to repeat the spring football scouting success Dallas had in finding KaVontae Turpin and Brandon Aubrey.
