The Cowboys have taken advantage of the UFL (formerly XFL and USFL) talent pool in recent years with the additions of kicker Brandon Aubrey and wide reciever KaVontae Turpin.

The team recently hosted four defensive players for workouts at The Star in Frisco including, DC Defenders cornerback Deandre Baker, DC Defenders cornerback Gareon Conley, Michigan Panthers linebacker Noah Dawkins, and St. Louis Battlehawks linebacker Willie Harvey Jr.

Baker and Conley were both first round NFL Draft selections, Baker to the Giants and Conley to the Raiders.

Worth noting: The Cowboys have just two roster spots open ahead of training camp in Oxnard, California.
